As part of the wider (landscape-led) masterplan for North Stoneham Park and forming a key character to the phase 2 development, is the relationship with the woodland edges. Working with HGP Architects, Odyssey Engineers and WYG, the landscape design will include woodland walks, a raised boardwalk through a wildflower SuDS basin and pocket parks / ‘doorstep play’. Integrated seamlessly with generously planted streets, the landscape will create a rich setting for future residents and the wider community to connect with the natural environment.
Running in conjunction with North Stoneham Park and forming part of the development’s sports provision mitigation is the development of a new FA Parklife Football Hub which has also recently received full planning approval. To achieve this, landowners Eastleigh Borough Council and Southampton City Council have joined forces with the Football Association, Sports England and The Department for Digital Culture, Media and Sport to develop land to the south of the site as a future sustainable location for football provision across the local area.

As we move towards the end of 2017 and reflect upon our planning achievements this year, it is encouraging to see the 1 phase of construction beginning on site this month. We are looking forward to developing the remaining phases next year which will comprise a new (age restricted) landmark building, local centre, community building, primary school and offices.
