As we welcome the subtle hues of autumn, we look back at our project highlights from the summer season.
It has been a productive summer at Deacon Design as we continue to grow our portfolio of projects across a range of sectors including the phase 1 completion of the Veterans’ Hub development in Wiltshire, landscape-led masterplanning for strategic housing site in Hampshire and the commencement of a new business park for Southampton.
Our highlights include:
Seeing our public realm design for the Veterans’ Hub in Wiltshire welcome ex-servicemen to a new village that offers flexible working and training opportunities. Read more here.
Landscape-led strategic masterplans for a new residential scheme in Titchfield and a 75 bed Care Home in Ashford. The new Care Home will feature landscaped amenity areas, outdoor areas for the sole use of care home residents, comprehensive planting and a new cycle connection.
Construction has started on the phase 1 development at Adanac Business Park. Read more about the scheme here.
We have also led workshops at a local Hampshire school to involve children in the development of a new school garden. The winning design, inspired by the school name Orchard Lea, includes new fruit trees, a ‘hedgehog’ hedge, wildflower meadows and ‘sun ray’ stepping stones. More on this project coming before Christmas.
Lastly, our involvement in the leisure sector has seen us collaborate with Luken Beck Planning and the landowner to develop plans for a series of shepherd huts and yurts at Sindles Farm.
